Export issue worklogs into FreshBooks invoices
The Jira FreshBooks Connector allows to export information about spent working time to FreshBooks. It is easy to export spent work hours from issues into your invoices.
Several Task Mapping Strategies
A Task Mapping strategy - is a set of rules which define how the issues from Jira are mapped to tasks from FreshBooks. Different Task Mapping strategies give ability to map issues to tasks differently.
Two synchronization modes
Two synchronization modes supported for defined issues in the "Project Links" section. The manual synchronization can be fired by "Run Sync" button. The automatic sync is always on.

Jira Freshbooks Connector is a plugin that resolves a problem of double reporting for users of these applications. It allows you to send worklogs from Jira to Freshbooks with 1 click and keep worklogs synchronized automatically. All you need to do is to configure mapping between Project or Filter in Jira and target project in FreshBooks and enjoy seamless work and invoicing at the same time.How-to video

We wanted to find a solution, which would account that sometimes tasks are not the same as issues.
In Freshbooks Tasks are, in practice, strictly classified services, which company provides to clients,
While Jira Issues are the development process documentation, which is focused on details, but not on abstract goals of this process. To summarize, issues of Jira are always more development-specific, while tasks from Freshbooks are more service-specific. Thus, many jira issues can correspond to a single FreshBooks task.
So, we designed a concept, which gives ability to use the old way of synchronization (when Each Jira Issue is a Freshbooks Task) or to use the new way of synchronization (when Multiple Issues are a Task). This concept gained name "Task Mapping Strategy". The old way of synchronization became the "Each Issue is a Task" task mapping strategy, and the new way of synchronization became the "Issues Are A Task..." task mapping strategy. -Added ability to map Issues found with a Jira issue search filter to FreshBooks tasks - now you can map multiple issues to a single task, so that development-process would not interfere with billing-process.
-Added warnings when Jira issue filters, you are trying to use may be dangerous, when used improperly.
